Whoa. Long time, no blog, eh? Sorry, it couldn't be helped, because I had a LAPTOP CRASH (horrible screams in background)!!!!
Besides, I have been spending all of time my time watching Jane Austen movies, reading Jane Austen book, and breathing Jane Austen air--and babysitting.
Oh, and I'm preforming at church with a 'drama reading', so I have been busy-busy.
And last night, I made chocolate chip cookies--the old fashioned way!! I know, I know--SCAR-RY!!
It was practically like being in Jane Austen times (that, or Amish). But it was SO MUCH FUN (besides, they tasted better than frozen dough. And we got to use regular sugar and white flour instead of freshly-ground wheat and sucanat like we usually have. This comes with having a healthy mom).
Since this is a blog of nothing and I have writing I want to get done (writing of a whole lot of nothing) i must now, officially, sign off.
Until later, my few and precious readers,
Her Royal Highness,
Queen Alyssa

Order: What It's All About
Order: What It's All About
Another Youth Group thing. Enjoy!
I can just see everyone now...Order? Why do we even CARE what it's all about? I mean, pshaw, it's just a bunch of--well, you get the message (and so do I, which is why my almighty purpose of my life--and this article--is to make it as interesting as possible, so cut me a little slack and read on--oh, but read them in order as they list them, not according to number. See? Very orderly).
5. The Dinosaur Times
Order has been around for ages (since, like, the beginning of the earth, when Laptops and lattes hadn't been invented yet...I know, I know. I'm screaming at the thought too).
I mean, come on. Would God just be all "Here is Man and Black Emptiness--wait, where'd man go?" yeah, I don't think so (though I don't really agree with woman coming second--especially when we all know she's definitely the better of the two, but--Oh! Wait! I remember now--woman came second because man needed some "special" help, if you get what I'm saying. And that's putting it mildly. Anyways, back to woman coming second--God had his own schedule to keep to. I heard his secretary was very strict about it and everything).
2. "ORDER! ORDER IN THE COURT!"
This annoying line has been around for ages--since (Judge Judy started on TV, at least). And I can see why. I mean, why have the witness testify BEFORE promising to tell the trust and nothing but the trust with his hand on the Bible? Because, hello, lie and then promise to tell the trust isn't really all that effective.
4. Easy Over Eggs
Order is extremely important (for example, today my sister had "easy-over eggs" for breakfast).
Tonnac uoy, redro ginkcal ma I ,tnemom eht ta ecnis. Encenetnes siht dear ot elba eb dlouw uoy esiwrehto esuaceb tnatropmi si redrO. (Translation: Order is important because otherwise you would be able to read this sentence. Since, at the moment, I am lacking order, you cannot.)
1. What? Bed time when the sun is out? Are you Mentally Challenged?
OK, so let's say that you are going to do your entire day backwards. Does that mean you wake up at 6 P.M. instead of 6 A.M.? Or do you wake up at 6 A.M. and eat dinner?
SINCE WHEN IS ORDER SO COMPLICATED?
Order is going in order--but what is IN ORDER?
Order for me is different than order for you. Everyone has a "comfy" place, a certain diet, a way they live their life, including the order they live it in. Basically, order for everyone is the sunrise and sundown, and following their specific schedules during that time. But order also means organized or neat. For example: Is your room in order? (mine isn't, let me tell you). So...what is Order?
3. What is Order?
That depends, really. Since I don't have an answer, I suggest you grab a dictionary or stalk down My Youth Group Leader who's name will not be mentioned here and ask him.
Thanks for reading!
