❤♥Valentine's Day♥❤

Okay, so I'm single, 14, and it's Valentine's Day....

Basically, this translates to "end of the world".

Well, it would, if I was, you know, NORMAL.

Since I am not, in fact, normal, I have no problem with Valentine's Day and my utter single-ness. And I don't think anyone else should feel bad if they are under the age of 18 and single, because, HELLO, YOU ARE UNDER 18!!!

It's not like my parents said "You can't date until you are so and so age". They didn't (except my dad DID mention his BB gun...)
It's just my opinion. I don't want to date. Maybe someday, yeah, I don't want to die an old maid (not that there is anything wrong with that, mind you. Just not really my thing. Unless I had many, many cats. I like cats. In fact, I have a fifty-pound white one on my lap as I write this).
I just find teen dating overrated and ridiculous (see 10 Reasons Why Teen Dating is a Waste of Time under Oct. 2007). Sure, it's okay to say "Blah blah in this and that movie was REALLY cute". And yeah, if your into the whole 'teen dating' scene, GOOD FOR YOU! It's just not my thing.

So, if you are single on Valentine's Day, don't worry about it. It is SO not the end of the world like our society would have you believe (also, I believe in the conspiracy theory that Valentine's Day was made for commercialism through Hallmark attempting to convince you to blow money on that cute little bear who sings and boogies holding a stuffed heart that reads "To My Valentine" or whatever. Do you REALIZED how many people have dancing animals from Hallmark? Seriously.)
